Join the Penn State Alumni Association and other alumni at the 7th Annual President's Concert, Feb. 8, 2013, in Washington, D.C., featuring the Penn State Concert Choir, Symphonic Wind Ensemble, Baroque Ensemble, Brass Ensemble, a marimba duo, and a piano soloist. The concert will also include pipe organ accompaniment by 2011 Alumni Fellow and internationally acclaimed organist, William Neil ’66.
The President’s Concert, hosted by Penn State President Rodney Erickson, will be preceded by a reception for alumni and friends at the National Presbyterian School, adjacent to the National Presbyterian Church.
PRE-CONCERT RECEPTION
The Penn State Alumni Association will host a reception from 6:00–7:00 p.m. at the National Presbyterian School. Alumni and friends can enjoy hors d'oeuvres and socializing with other Penn Staters. Admission to the reception is $20 for Alumni Association members; $30 for non-members; $5 for students 6-17; and free for children five and under. Please register by Feb. 1, 2013. Those attending the reception will be escorted to reserved seating for the President's Concert.
THE PRESIDENTS CONCERT
The performance will be held at 7:30 p.m. at the National Presbyterian Church and is complimentary. (Please note: You only need to pre-register for the Alumni Association's pre-concert reception.)
